YES Names Janet Randolph as Board President

Human Resources Executive Brings “Exemplary Leadership” to the 46 Year-old Nonprofit

COSTA MESA, CA (December 8 , 2016) – Youth Employment Services (YES) has named Janet Randolph its new President of its Board of Directors. The Costa Mesa-based non-profit organization offers programs that help young adults improve their employability, career choices, self-esteem and quality of life.

As President, Randolph provides leadership to the Board, presides over all meetings and functions, and supervises the Executive Director. She has been a Board member since 2013, and during that time served as Chair of the Board Development Committee and as an officer on the Executive Committee.

Randolph brings to YES extensive expertise in the areas of change management, employment branding, acquisitions and integration, performance management, professional and career development, international workforces, employee engagement and workplace climate. She currently is Vice President, Human Resources, Telogis, a Verizon Company, a position she has held since April 2014. Previously, she served as Vice President, Human Resources for HireRight, a position she held from 2010-2014.

“We are truly at a crossroads at YES, taking our workshops out to schools and youth organizations throughout Orange County,” Randolph said. “This extended outreach will enable us to provide even more young adults with quality, employment skills training that will make them ready to be hired and perform on the job. We realize the magnitude of the challenge and the scope of the opportunity – which I am proud to lead — as productive employment is an important economic engine of our community and YES graduates bring the advantage of preparation to their employers.”

“Janet has done a remarkable job in developing a new generation of YES board members who are bringing fresh ideas and extended resources to our 46-year old organization. I have every confidence that her dedication, compassion and exemplary leadership will take our organization to the next level,” said Immediate Past President John Hobson.

Supporting Randolph are the following members of the Executive Committee: Hobson; Elle Mackrell, First Vice President; Dianne Seeber, Second Vice President; Eric Juarez, Chief Financial Officer; and John Archer, Secretary.
